Help shape the future of Derbyshire libraries

Could you get involved?

Boy-in-library

We're setting up focus groups as part of a consultation asking for people's views on our proposals to change the way libraries are run.

The proposals include transferring 20 libraries out of a total of 45 and the mobile library service to community management.

If you think you could help then we'd like to hear from you.

To find out more or get more involved in the discussions, you can sign-up to join your local focus group being held during June and July 2018 in:

The focus group specific to the mobile library service is being held at County Hall, Matlock, on Wednesday 11 July 2018 at 6pm.

A series of drop-in sessions are also being held in libraries across Derbyshire where staff will be on hand to talk about the plans and answer any questions.

A public question and answer session is also being held at Chesterfield Library on 21 July. Further details will be available soon.

Take part in our consultation.
