Give a child a loving home

Could you foster or adopt a Derbyshire child?

man and young child

The number of children needing our support is on the rise − and we need new foster and adoptive parents to give them a loving home.

Could you take on this hugely important role in a child's life?

We're particularly keen to find carers and adoptive parents for children aged four and above, sibling groups and children with complex needs.

Carers and adoptive parents need to be over 21 and can be single, married, straight, gay or transgender, from any ethnic origin, working or not, renting or homeowners.

Find out more if you think you could foster or adopt a child in need.

There you can read all about the support and training we offer and the allowances that are available.

Or you can call our fostering and adoption enquiry line tel: 0800 083 7744 or email: fostering@derbyshire.gov.uk or adoption@derbyshire.gov.uk
